Subscription Cancellation
How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time through:
- Your account dashboard under "Subscription Settings"
- Contacting our support team at help@laxmock.com
Cancellation Effect
When you cancel your subscription:
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
- You will retain access to all paid features until the subscription expires
- No further charges will be made after the current period ends
- Unused credits can be used until your subscription ends (credits do not roll over)
No Partial Refunds
Subscription fees are non-refundable. If you cancel mid-billing cycle, you won't receive a refund for the remaining period, but you'll retain full access until the period ends.
Refund Policy
Refund Eligibility
Due to the immediate delivery of digital services and AI-generated content, all sales are final and generally non-refundable. However, we may offer refunds in the following circumstances:
- Technical Issues: If our service is unavailable due to technical problems on our end preventing service use
- Duplicate Charges: If you were accidentally charged multiple times for the same purchase
- Unauthorized Charges: If charges were made without your authorization
- Billing Errors: Partial refunds may be provided at our discretion for unused subscription periods in cases of billing errors
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the charge.
Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Used interview credits
- Services accessed or used, even partially
- Subscription fees after the billing period has started
Refund Request Process
To request a refund:
- Email us at help@laxmock.com with subject "Refund Request"
- Include your order/transaction ID and reason for refund
- Provide any relevant details or documentation
- Our team will review your request within 3-5 business days
Refund Processing Time
If your refund is approved:
- Credit/Debit Card: 5-7 business days
- UPI/Net Banking: 5-7 business days
- Other payment methods: Up to 10 business days
Note: Refund timelines may vary based on your bank or payment provider.
Credits & Billing Cycle
Interview credits are tied to your billing cycle:
- Monthly Reset: Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. Unused credits do not roll over to the next month.
- Non-Transferable: Credits are tied to your account and cannot be transferred.
- Plan-Based: The number of credits you receive depends on your subscription plan (Free, Starter, Pro, or Premium).
Upon account termination, all unused credits are forfeited and non-refundable.
Plan Changes (Upgrades & Downgrades)
7-Day Cooldown Period
To ensure accurate billing and prevent issues, plan changes are subject to a 7-day cooldown period. After changing your plan, you must wait 7 days before making another plan change.
Upgrading Your Plan
When you upgrade to a higher-tier plan:
- The upgrade is applied immediately
- You are charged the prorated difference for the remaining billing period
- Your credits are reset to the new plan's monthly allocation
Downgrading Your Plan
When you downgrade to a lower-tier paid plan (e.g., Premium to Pro):
- The downgrade is applied immediately
- You receive billing credit for the unused portion of your previous plan
- This credit is automatically applied to your next renewal
- Your credits are capped at the new plan's limit (you cannot gain credits by downgrading)
When downgrading to the Free plan:
- The downgrade is scheduled for the end of your current billing period
- You retain full access to your current plan until it expires
- No refunds are provided for the remaining period
Credit Handling During Plan Changes
To prevent abuse of the credit system:
- Upgrades: Credits are reset to the new plan's allocation
- Downgrades: Credits are capped at the new plan's limit (never increased)
- Example: If you have 100 credits on Pro and downgrade to Starter (1000 credits), you keep 100 credits
- Example: If you have 1500 credits on Pro and downgrade to Starter (1000 credits), you get 1000 credits
Account Termination
User-Initiated Termination
You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion:
- All account data will be permanently removed
- Unused credits will be forfeited
- Active subscriptions will be cancelled
- No refunds will be provided for unused portions
Company-Initiated Termination
We reserve the right to terminate accounts for:
- Violation of Terms of Service
- Fraudulent activity
- Abuse of service
In such cases, no refunds will be issued for unused credits or remaining subscription time.
Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our service. If we make significant changes that substantially affect your subscription:
- You will be notified at least 30 days in advance
- You may request a prorated refund for the remaining period
- Alternative solutions or migrations may be offered
Fair Usage Policy
To ensure quality service for all users, we maintain a fair usage policy. Excessive or abusive use of the service may result in account review and potential limitations or termination without refund.

- We will work to resolve the issue within 7 business days
- If unresolved, you may escalate through your payment provider

Policy Updates
